Graduate schools

The LabEx EMC3 relies on three doctoral school (ED) spannin research in Physics and Chemistry in Normandy, namely: ED PSIME and ED Normande de Chimie.

  • ED PSIME is the merging of the SIMEM and PSMII doctoral schools after the creation of the Normandy region. It is the entity of the Universities of Caen, Rouen and Le Havre in association with the engineering schools ENSICAEN and INSA Rouen. Within LabEx EMC3, it manages PhD students from the welcoming laboratories: CIMAP, CRISMAT, GPM, CORIA and LOMC
  • EDNC (Norman Doctoral School of Chemistry) is an entity of the Universities of Caen, Rouen and Le Havre in association with the engineering schools ENSICAEN and INSA Rouen. Within LabEx EMC3, it manages PhD students from the LCMT and LCS laboratories.

Graduate schools and higher education institutions offer PhD student mutualised transdisciplinary training and professional accompaniments. PhD student also have the possibility to make teaching assignments.
